David co-founded Agentis Capital Mining Partners in 2019 and has more than 18 years of capital markets and mining experience, ranging from investment banking to corporate development and treasury.

Prior to Agentis, David served as Vice President & Treasurer at Goldcorp Inc., and as Vice President, Corporate Development and Marketing until Goldcorp’s $12.5bn merger with Newmont Mining in April 2019. He was also involved in Goldcorp’s C$526m acquisition of Probe Mines and their C$1.0bn sale of their 26% interest in Tahoe Resources. David has also acted as buy-side advisor to Glamis Gold on their $1.2bn acquisition of Western Silver, as buy-side advisor to Goldcorp on their $1.5bn acquisition of Gold Eagle, and as buy-side advisor to Eldorado Gold on their $2.0bn acquisition of Sino Gold, an ASX listed gold producer.

Prior to Agentis and Goldcorp, David worked at Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. and Orion Securities. He is also currently a Director for Orla Mining, a leading gold developer, as well as several private companies.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Harvard University.
